JOB CONTEXT
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Supply Chain Manager (Global Imports) to lead and manage our international sourcing, import operations, and logistics coordination. The role involves close collaboration with global vendors, freight partners, and internal project teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
JOB RESPONSIBILTIES
- International Indenting & Vendor/OEMs Management:
- Source and evaluate international vendors/OEMs for cost-effective and quality solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with global suppliers.
Import Operations Management:
- Manage the end-to-end supply chain process, from the OEM warehouse to Ezzy's warehouse.
- Ensure compliance with all international shipping regulations and Incoterms.
Negotiation & Cost Optimization:
- Negotiate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and insurers to achieve the most competitive terms.
- Develop cost-effective shipping solutions for timely and efficient delivery.
Commercial Documentation:
- Prepare and manage all commercial documents, including LCs, insurance, invoices, and shipping documents.
- Ensure proper handling and submission of documents as per import regulations.
Freight & Logistics Coordination:
- Oversee freight forwarding, customs clearance, and warehousing.
- Optimize transportation and logistics strategies to minimize delays and costs.
Project Management:
- Work closely with project teams to meet timelines and achieve supply chain targets.
- Provide regular updates and mitigate risks proactively.
Technology-Driven Supply Chain Solutions:
- Utilize advanced supply chain management tools and software for efficiency.
Communication & Reporting:
- Maintain clear and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare detailed reports for management on supply chain performance.
